Helpful Ways to Save
International Medical Group (IMG) Travel Assistance
IMG's travel assistance services can help with a broad variety of travel issues, including:
- Medical assistance, including help finding care, replacing prescriptions or medical devices, and bringing care to you
- Emergency medical transport, including emergency medical evacuation, emergency hospitalization, and assistance with transportation of family members
- Travel assistance, including lost document/luggage help, legal referrals, interpretation services, and identity theft assistance
Chubb International Travel Assistance
If you're traveling outside the United States for work, you can get help through Chubb's International Travel Assistance services. These offerings include assistance with:
- Trip planning
- Travel alerts

- Emergency medical and travel assistance

Using Benefits While Traveling
Paying for medical care when you are traveling outside the United States works differently than in the United States. There are some general facts to keep in mind:
- You will have to pay for any services received outside of the United States up front and out of pocket.
- After service is received, you will need to complete the necessary claim forms to be reimbursed according to your plan guidelines.
- Please remember to obtain all itemized receipts for any services received while outside of the United States. You will be required to send these receipts in with your claim forms.
- All paid amounts will be translated into U.S. dollars when the claims are processed for reimbursement.
Medical
After service is received, you will need to complete the necessary claim forms to be reimbursed according to your plan guidelines.

Dental
You may submit claims to Delta Dental for out-of-network processing. Cigna Dental does not provide an out-of-network benefit; you will be responsible for paying for any services you receive from an out-of-network provider.
Vision

CVS/Caremark
When you're traveling out of country, you don't have to find an in-network pharmacy to fill your prescription. The medication will be processed just as it would in the United States under your prescription plan (generic, preferred, and non-preferred).
Travel Tip: Before you leave for your trip, ask your pharmacist for an extended supply beyond the traditional 30 or 90 days. Your extended fills (at retail or mail order) will be charged at the appropriate coinsurance rate.
